Champagne Bollinger obtains the renewal of the 'Living Heritage Company' label

Champagne Bollinger has developped essential know-how throughout its value chain, reinforcing its reputation for excellence:
Bollinger practices viticultural techniques that date back to the 17th century for its plot of “Vieilles Vignes Françaises”
The Maison has an in-house cooper after Bollinger maintains 400 barrels per year with traditional tools and ancestral techniques
For vintage wines, vinification takes place in oak barrels
Vintage wines are aged under natural cork which is held in place with an agrafe, or “staple” to preserve the aromas
Riddling and disgorgement takes place by hand for vintage cuvées
Bollinger maintains a collection of reserve magnums, unique in Champagne, with 1 million reserve magnums, which will age on the lees for 7 to 15 years in the cellar.
Long ageing of its wines, from a minimum of three years for Special Cuvée and up to fourteen for Bollinger R.D.

The Living Heritage Company Certification Label
The renewal of the LHC certification, and becoming B Corp certified, demonstrates Champagne Bollinger’s commitment to practices which guarantee excellence in everything the Maison does, whether that be in terms of preserving its unique skills or by upholding its social, environmental, and societal commitments by virtue of its three pillars: Our People, Our Land, Our Roots.
A responsibility anchored in time and a commitment to People, the Earth and our Roots.
