In 2024, Champagne Bollinger has had the great honour of celebrating the renewal of its prestigious Royal Warrant by His Majesty King Charles III. This distinction is evidence of the unparalleled excellence and enduring loyalty that has connected the Maison and the Crown since 1884. This reappointment is a testament to quality and tradition, but it also marks an important milestone: an unbroken 140 years of partnership with the Crown—an unprecedented achievement in Champagne.
Heritage born of tradition and daring
Bollinger has blended tradition and daring since it was very first established in 1829. Always closely aligned with the United Kingdom, Bollinger has been moving within Britain’s innermost circles since 1858 thanks to its astute partnership with the London-based wine merchant, Ludwig Mentzendorff. A few decades later, in 1884, Queen Victoria granted this exceptional Champagne House the honour of receiving its first Royal Warrant. Ever since, every reigning monarch—from Victoria to Charles III—has renewed this honour, establishing Bollinger as a symbol of excellence within the Royal Household’s exclusive circle of suppliers.
It is an immense privilege to, once again, be granted the honour of this renewal—particularly this year, which marks the 140 th anniversary of our first Royal Warrant.
