Our vines grow as far as the eye can see, covering every fragment of land that nature has loaned to us.

La Grande Année and La Grande Année Rosé are blended with meticulous care from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes sourced exclusively from Grands and Premiers crus vineyards in Champagne.

Beyond the winding footpaths, the forest reaches out into the infinite distance to a place of grand tranquility.

The history of Champagne Bollinger has always been interwoven with that of its family forest in Cuis, which stands above the Maison’s 180ha of vineyards. Since 2015, this forest has provided Bollinger with the wood it uses to produce its oak barrels.

A taste as identifiable as a voice among thousands, as clear as the voice of nature.

  • The wood of our barrels becomes a home for our wines during the vinification process and inspires the taste of our Champagnes, our signature.

The wood used during winemaking is crafted using unique know-how to naturally protect and nurture the finest wines, encouraging the development of exquisite aromas and producing cuvées with outstanding ageing potential.

  • Wood is alive, immortal, the canopy’s majestic foundation.

Every grain of wood is alive, breathing. It is a precious resource; it bears witness to creation. It metamorphoses into cosy features in our homes, into majestic structures as tall as the sky. We cannot live without it, it teaches us the importance of working together, of respect.

"The 2015 has captured the Bollinger style more than any vintage. More opulent, more powerful, with Pinot Noir at centre stage. Vinified in barrel, it showcases the characteristics of an exceptional year."

Denis Bunner - Wine Director
